Your BHFF Board of Directors has chosen Saturday, May 5 at
the date for the 2007 BIG Auction.
Last year, we moved the Social Event of the Year to The
Journey Museum in Rapid City. It went well, and we raised a pile
of cash for conservation and education projects throughout the
Black Hills. We noticed some wrinkles in the event, and we have
plans in place to fix those mistakes for this year’s event.
We invite you to mark the date on your calendar, find a
babysitter now, and start setting aside some cash for the
wonderful items you’ll find. As usual, we will offer rods, reels,
vest, pontoon boats, killer fl y collections, books, artwork,
housewares, gifts, hunting and fishing trips in the Black Hills and
to more exotic places, clothing for men and women, flylines, and
a bunch of other things that you know you need. And, as usual,
we will offer a few surprise items that we think everyone will
enjoy.
The various auction committees are hard at work, but they all
have room for more volunteers. If you want to participate in the
