The BHFF met November 9th to hear Jeff Shearer, ace fisheries biologist of the SDGF&P provide the
annual “State of the Fisheries” address. What is the state of the fisheries, you ask? Well, in case you
missed this outstanding program, the operative word is “grim”.
We need water, and lots of it. Our favorite streams are in poor shape. Not a lot of good news was
included in this report. Special thanks to our good friend Jeff Shearer for providing the update.
