A Great Movie Runs Through It
|
The January meeting of the BHFF will take place on Thursday, January 11th. The “social” will begin at
6:30 p.m. (free food and booze), and the program will begin at 7 p.m. All of this will be held in the
friendly confines of The Journey Museum in Rapid City.
The program, you ask? Well, it’s a good one. But first, a little background. The Journey Museum has
a fabulous theatre. Big screen. Nice seats. State-of-the-art sound system. With all this going for us,
the keen minds that run this organization thought, “Why not show a movie?”
And not just any movie, but a movie based on the famous novella, “A River Runs Through It.” Well,
there you have it. A great fishing movie. Popcorn. A deluxe theatre. All wrapped around what is
becoming known as the premier social event in the Black Hills – our food and adult beverage
half-hour prior to the main event. Don’t miss this one, ‘cause it will be fun.
