Black Hills Flyfishers
Youth Education
BHFF in cooperation with the Rapid City YMCA offers the youth of the Black
Hills an opportunity to learn about fly fishing, conservation, fly casting, fly
tying and much more.
Scholarships to the program are available to qualified individuals. Call (605)

Women's Fly Fishing Program
In the spring of 2006 the BHFF started their first Fly Fishing Program for
Women.
Since its inception BHFF volunteer and Board Member Jim LaFreniere
has conducted classes with the purpose of providing ladies-only fly
fishing instruction.
In these classes the students learned about casting a fly, selecting
the appropriate equipment and fishing.
As a bonus, this year's group of women enjoyed some excellent
fishing at an undisclosed location in the Hills, to which the gals were
sworn to secrecy.
